Junior Assistant Designer NYC - London | 2022-2025
During my time working for Tony Award–winning costume designer Greg Barnes, I supported his creative process on several major productions, most notably Between the Lines the musical, now available on Amazon Prime, Kinky Boots on tour, Some Like It Hot, Boop!, and most recently assisted him in London on The Greatest Showman. My responsibilities included research, preparing materials, organising fittings, and contributing to the development and construction of detailed costume pieces. Working so closely with Greg gave me invaluable insight into his design approach, strengthened my technical precision, and deepened my understanding of how creative concepts translate into fully realised stage costumes. This experience significantly enriched my craftsmanship and broadened my perspective on high-level theatrical design.
