During my time working for Hugh, I had the opportunity to take on both creative and managerial responsibilities across theatre and opera productions. I was commissioned to produce bespoke hats for The Music Man on Broadway, crafting pieces that met the show’s stylistic and performance demands. I also managed costumes for the production of La Finta Giardiniera at the Philip Chosky Theater in Pittsburgh, overseeing fittings, maintenance, and day-to-day wardrobe needs to ensure a seamless performance. This experience strengthened my millinery skills, broadened my understanding of costume management, and deepened my ability to support productions from conception through performance.
